Where do sessions take place?
Sessions can take place remotely anywhere in Massachusetts. I also have an office in Harvard Square and offer some evening sessions there.
What can I expect in my first session?
After a free consultation call, we can schedule an official intake. In our intake, I will ask about your current concerns and symptoms, any relevant history, what your support network looks like, and some goals for treatment. We won’t dive into anything extremely detailed in our first session!
I’ve never done therapy before, is that okay?
Of course! Thank you for being willing to engage with such a vulnerable and important practice. I take this job very seriously and want you to feel comfortable entering the therapeutic relationship. We will take it one step at a time, together! I like to do “progress reports” with clients at least monthly to check in on how they feel therapy is working for them. That will be a good opportunity for any feedback or concerns about the therapeutic process.
How does payment work?
Payment is done online through the Alma platform. I accept all major credit cards and Venmo if needed.
